Mini Murmuration of Starlings

They're fascinating even when it's a small flock.   First time I've had one in my front yard and I thoroughly enjoyed the brief show.  I feel lucky to have seen a big one a number of years ago and it was amazing to watch.   At the moment I'm lurking on the porch with my camera awaiting a repeat performance of the juvenile eagle with crow escort fly-by of a few minutes ago.  Not a bad place for a blipper to be!
