'Are your eyes fit for driving?'

This seemed to be the main public information sign on this journey, apart from the warnings about horse drawn vehicles on the A66 - which there were and prolonged the journey to testing point.  Not sure mine were but the instinct to stay alive was strong.  But this has to be one of the toughest I've done.  My mother died on Friday.  I find it difficult to share such personal information on Blipfoto (I admire and also find it helpful that other people are more brave) - I usually prefer to record an essence of what the day has thrown up through the images.  Am tired, numb, shocked, but glad to have got here in one piece.  Not sure what else to say but that's ok.
