Silver Acorn

Today I went to see Floss receive the Silver Acorn award at the Scottish Scouting Awards. It as a great afternoon with some really interesting addresses, in particular Tim Baillie and Tim Kidd. The young scouts giving the presentation were ace, and I was sitting with one of Floss' old Venture Scouts and his son, who were there to see their Dad and Grandad respectively receive his Bar to the Silver Acorn.
So proud of Floss, as would his Mum and Dad have been. He had his Mum's Gilwell necker on.
