photos don't always tell the true story

This makes the garden look summery and still.. in reality the wind is whistling through leaves making us all feel cold!!  Not a day to be enjoying the summer warmth!
Visited a friends exhibition private view this morning... she has sold lots of her paintings so that is fantastic.  We joined in her celebrations with a glass of fizz which has left me feeling sleepy all day!!  
The rose fell off the wall with the wind so that was a prickly job to get it back against the wall again.. we have village gardens open next weekend.. l really hope the wind calms down by then as it is battering everything
