Bindweed
Today I cleaned windows. Lots of windows. We have 44 separate panes and I cleaned them all, both inside and out. And then I cleaned the two panes of glass in the conservatory roof that don't 'self-clean' as they don't get the sun. And then I cleaned the greenhouse roof. I don't want to see glass again for a while.
One thing about being outside cleaning windows is that other villagers stop for a chat so that adds to the time taken. So once again I got to the end of the day without a Blip in the bag, but I spotted these bindweed flowers in the hedge on the side lane so thought they would do. When we were kids we would pull the white part of the flower off the plant and suck the nectar out from the base. I remembered it being really sweet so a couple of years ago I had another go. Lets just say I won't try that again.
