960. Happy Birthday Arron!

Another busy day which ended in an extra birthday celebration for Arron as we missed his actual birthday this week because we were away...so today all the family gathered and he had a ball!

This is him with his wee cousin Isaac blowing out the candles on his cake....we all had a wonderful time!

Well it seems that we may have agreed with BA what they owe us after a bit of a pantomime yesterday over the phone when they told us they would give us a refund on our flights but would then deduct this amount from the costs of our train travel to get home.....I couldn't get get the woman to understand that this in effect meant that we were not getting a refund for our flights.....but eventually after a few hours and several phone calls they finally agreed that they would refund the flights and pay for our travel home....but it was touch and go.  Apparently their policy is that if you "choose" not to rebook your flight and go home instead they will refund your flights but will deduct this from your travel expenses to get home...but they did agree that as we were told to go home and told that there was no chance of getting our flights rebooked, they would refund us for the whole claim...but to be honest until I see money back in our bank account I won't be happy!
