Lion Salt Works Transport Festival

We went along to the Lion Salt Works Transport Festival today. Although it was only a small affair it was pretty good. The bonus was the Lion Salt Works museum itself which I thought was excellent and very interesting. It only opened a couple of years ago and won Best Newcomer to the Tourism Industry Award Winner in its first year. You can see why.

The museum is next to the Trent and Mersey canal and trips were being run along the canal today.
