RNLI Shannon class lifeboat

The new two million pound plus lifeboat, based in Scarborough, and seen here charging towards the beach. It was all part of the recovery plan as the million pound tractor and trailer unit waited patiently for its load. Had I not seen this for myself and taken these photographs I would not have believed the speed at which the lifeboat roared towards the recovery vehicle.
The new lifeboat is called the Frederick William Plaxton.
