Peek-A-Boo

This little squirrel sitting around in the maple that's right by the back steps of our house - brave one.

Surgery on my son's ankle is scheduled for Sunday - the plan is to put 2 metal plates on either side of the ankle and screw them in.  No pressure on that leg for 6 to 8 weeks.  As far as the coughing goes, cardiology ran a full battery of tests and found him all clear with no blockages and valves working correctly.  The explanation for the passing out when he coughs is that the coughing stimulates the vagus nerve which causes the heart rate to slow which causes blood pressure to lower and then you pass out.  He may have to see a cardiac electrophysiologist to check the electrical functions of his heart when he has these coughing fits.
