My Back Yard

George and I ventured into the garden late this afternoon, his first time in the back yard.  And he loved it.

This is a Correa reflexa - an Adelaide native, and looks particularly splendid this year.  I wish I could say the same of the garden.  Weeks of neglect, and all my hard work last year is undone.  On the plus side I was able to pick rhubarb and rainbow chard for dinner.

I shall have to start again, and I'm sure George will help.
