Impermanence

I took the blip trip today to the area of Copenhagen where I was born. In Nørrebro is Assistant Cemetery which I often visited when I was a child. I like to walk around the cemetery. Partly because it bears witness to a history that has been, partly because it reminds me of my own mortality and partly because there are a lot of interesting subjects for pictures in the form of ancient tombs, fences that are more or less in solution and beautiful colors. I'm not religious, but I find, however, rest in the cemetery from the vibrant metropolis I live in.

There are some historical people buried in the cemetery including Niels Bohr, Hans Christian Andersen, Søren Kierkegaard and Ben Webster. The cemetery is from 1760! It is definitely worth a visit if you should come by!
