First new iris out

The first off the 20+ irises that were planted earlier this year has flowered.

The packaging guaranteed they would flower in the first year, but I'm not convinced.

Only a few have got the tell tale signs of buds coming through.

Did my first ever park run today ( with the boys ) and we didn't finish last.

Junior park run tomorrow; and the rest of my weekend is being spent mounting prints.

Also going to try and update my Facebook page, so I can list what stock I have.

Not expecting anyone to buy anything via Facebook, but at least people can see what I have in advance of any fairs.
