Dawn, Nigg Bay

I had to put my wife on the train at 6.00am this morning.
Off to Glasgow with my sister to see a musical.
So having been turfed out of bed,
I decided to wait for the sunrise due at 6.25am at Nigg.
Two minute drive from the station, at that time of day.

The dawn started of quite soft,
but with the low cloud it went really dramatic once fully above the horizon.
Quite amazing, so I moved off the rocks and
I went down onto the wet sand to catch the reflections.
