Mega storm...

Well, as predicted the storm came last night and is still raging on today with gale force winds and extremely heavy seas.  Where I am staying at Sea Point, the road is closed as waves are literally coming right across the road.  I went to take a photo but it started hailstones and I was being lifted off the ground by the wind so I turned back!

I braved it to the waterfront this afternoon and it was extremely windy and cold!  The flags in the picture do not do the wind justice - as you can see, or rather not see...table mountain is hiding!
