Pyracantha (Rogersiana)............

.................a very prickly customer as I know well, having tripped and fallen into it a couple of years ago!!!
An evergreen bush, growing up to 10ft high, it is frost hardy and this one has yellow/orange berries which are not quite as popular with the birds as the ones with red fruits. Birds do eat them but don't strip the bush quite as quickly. Sparrows nest in it in Spring, which is nice.
