Ammonite
Very wet outside so I took to photographing indoors subjects.
I find fossils, and other marvels that our world produces naturally, incredibly interesting and have this little ammonite fossil. When I lived in Dorset in the UK, ammonites abounded - some people even had very large ones built into garden walls (though I'm not sure if they were genuine or replicas). I loved the story of Mary Anning who found found very significant fossils in the cliffs at Lyme Regis in West Dorset in the first half of the 19th century. Her finds were far greater than my humble little ammonite. You can check her out at https://www.sdsc.edu/ScienceWomen/anning.html
