Gardener's delight
I'm a beginner gardener, not having had a garden of my own for years, and most of the rented houses we lived in came with a gardener. Yesterday I tackled the grapevines, trying to bind them up as they were obstructing the path to the front door. We also have a shrub of the sweetest smelling star jasmine right next to the front door, almost growing into the door. So I tidied that and horror of horrors had to cut quite a lot of branches with flowers. Decided they could go in a vase and cut some other flowers out of the garden too, as we have roses everywhere. Result: a rather sweet smelling garden bouquet !
For Flower Friday, with thanks to our host Anni.
I'm very late today, had a great day with my fellow female mostly engineering students, we've been together as a student year group since 1975, actually more thrown together because we were the few females students starting to study in Delft and becoming members of the same student club that year. We're all very different, but we're still going strong, meeting every year if at all possible. This time in Rotterdam, which is such a vibrant city. See one extra of the bright yellow gangways between two urban projects there.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments, stars and even hearts for yesterday's hope Blip
