Pink Aquilegia

The pond is finished. It's brimming with tadpoles. Harry and Martin have left. The fountain and a 'waterfall' feeding over the rocks are aerating the water.

Harry is to return in around a month's time with plants for planting in the pond. We are responsible for finding plants for the back of the pond, most likely hosta, ferns and one or two irises.

In the meantime, we have to watch carefully for duckweed and blanket weed, and scoop it out.

My cold has not improved over much and I expect not to sing in the concert tomorrow. It takes an effort to do anything.

I went out to the garden and snapped this photo of a lovely pink aquilegia for today's blip.

Kat has started labour. We shall have to see how long it will be before Baby Hutton  makes his entrance into the world.
