Orkers Explorers

Finally the rain and wind stopped and we had a glorious day of sunshine for exploring the Eastern side of the island. Visited the beautiful St Magnus Cathedral, the stunning Italian Chapel, the Orkney wine company, a model village, had crab sandwiches for lunch by the sea in the sun, the tomb of the Eagles, a totem pole and the gloup caves. Not a bad day's achievements considering we'd headed out in the morning with a vague plan to head East! A beautiful sunset after dinner topped off a wonderful day.
