What a weight.....

A bit of a day away today. Went to the Scottish Beef Event, which this year was held at Fans farm , Earlston, in the Scottish Borders.
It was well attended and an interesting day despite the constant rain. I didn't go on the farm tour though as the thought of sitting on a tractor and trailer for an hour in the p...ing rain was less than appealing.
Home via my mechanic pal's to collect some spares then down to the village hall to vote.
Think this is the first time I can remember being unsure who to vote for as they all seem as useless as each other and have no interest in agriculture and rural businesses.
This is one of the Aberdeen Angus bulls on display today. He was huge and would have been far too heavy to use on any of my cows. He also has the distinctive heart freeze brand on his shoulder which is unique to his herd.
