What a day of intermittent torrential downpours - flowers and grasses sagging under the bombardment ! Quick dog walks dodging showers in between getting ready to go away for 4 days - it feels like we're going for weeks with all the arrangements to be made for animals , green house watering , packing for all weathers and the obligatory dinner - finishing every in the fridge - then it seemed a good time to clean it ........
Anyway in bed now and getting up in 4 hours - hopefully the sun will be shining in England and we might even a good bloke voted in as PM while we're there.
Extra of Cara - she might have her foal over the weekend - there's a few signs apparently , grumpy and dribbling milk - not that different from humans!
