Overkill?

Not a very exciting blip for my first one in nearly a week...but I was amused to see the amount of packaging used to send a tiny new replacement filter for a kettle! It's weird that, since I sent for this, the switch in the kettle has failed. I've managed to buy another identical one, so the filter can be kept by for that one!!

We have a thunderstorm going on outside at the moment - maybe quite appropriate for Election Day! The storm wasn't predicted and the likely result of the election wasn't either (exit polls predict a hung parliament). We have all felt very tired and muzzy headed today, so we're guessing it was because the storm was on the way...
