One week!

Henri is a week old! What a difference a week makes! The top picture was taken in the nicu by the kind nurse who understood just how scared I was after seeing my little boy go grey. She went down, got pictures, video, and a first hand report of how good he was doing. For the 5 days we were in care, both Henri and I were surrounded by angels who went above and beyond to make us better. No matter how much neoliberalism is causing havoc in our healthcare system, it can't break these people.

I thought things would be easier, second time around. And they kind of are. And in some respects, they are not. But I look at my little Henri, and I'm filled with love. And then I look at Oli, and wonder how come I've been so lucky as to have these two amazing little boys come into my life.

Yes, I'm mushy and emotional. And it's quite all right for now!
