Moving forward

Got up and out and made it to Business Village to meet the person we were advised to. Happy to say we did get to chat with him and speak about our project. He listened carefully and reckoned we should be fine, but just wants to double check one thing and will let us know by Sunday. Phew!

Dropped G to work, and then sat it out again at The Mall before collecting her again. Wednesday's are her extremely short day, so by 12:15, we were on our way to Festival City - mainly to get some shopping done at IKEA for our upcoming Cyprus visit, but also to look at a few other things. We needed to eat something though, so looked up who is open for lunch during Ramadan.

We ended up at the Hard Rock Cafe! First visit to them in their new location; I have to say I was impressed with not just their decor, but their food was really good too. My blip is of our lunch. A bit of a celebratory meal because we finally feel we can now press on.

And in the evening, we caught up with lots of my ex-colleagues for an Iftar meal. Twelve of us all together and we actually all sat around a table to eat! Our host had prepared a real feast, spending two days to get it all prepared. Gosh. Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera, so couldn't get a group shot.
