Ryan's Daughter

The film 'Ryan's Daughter' was filmed on the Dingle Peninsula. This is the remains of the school house. It stands on the top of a hill,  just a short walk from the Blasket Island Centre.

It brightened up today, but it certainly isn't beach weather yet. If it doesn't improve significantly over the next 7 days, I won't be able to get to the Blaskets. The ferry and the boats do not sail in poor weather.
