Dappled

Took advantage of some Sunday afternoon sunshine to recce a walk I'm due to lead with the Ramblers in a couple of weeks time.

It looks like the walk will need to be a little shorter than I had planned, in order that those who will be travelling by bus can catch a return service  - there's only one bus an hour between Falkirk and Cumbernauld. However, it was pleasant enough and on good paths.

This is the path under a now-disused railway bridge at the former Carron Ironworks. I suspect it looks very different now from when the works were in full production.
