Fraser River

This huge river is really high with monster logs roots branches and all flowing down. Saw one log mat or mess of logs and branches, that was larger than an average bedroom. At one point I could see 8 separate logs being swiftly taken past by the water. They had so much rain before we got here.

Lovely to sit and watch as I sipped my coffee. Read all about the giant sturgeons that still live here but are endangered. Five varieties of salmon in this river

Tons of silt every year but dredging has reduced the growth of the delta.

This suburb called New Westminster or New West for short is relatively new many town houses replacing old factories and riverside buildings.
