The Beer Garden

We went over to Dalkeith today to see Gavin off on his weekend away. Euan; Hayley; Cheryl and I waved him away, their next stop was the Kielder Forest where they were going for an outward bound weekend.

Cheryl, Euan and I decided we were going to go out for dinner, so we walked 2 miles from our house to the Flotterstone Inn. It was such a lovely meal, poor Euan said it was far too much and he had a sore tummy.

We ended up getting a taxi home at 9.30. Such a good day today, Gavin away with his pals feeling very independent, Hayley away with her pals, feeling very enthusiastic and Euan sitting in the house with us right now feeling really stuffed.

The blip today is off the beer garden, unfortunately the weather is so cold now that there is no one there. But, that might be because it is freeeeeezing.
