So many places but what to blip?
Started the day early with a tour of the Gothic quarter of Barcelona visiting the many quirky back streets and the Cathedral with accompanying opera sung by the obligatory fat lady. Then onward to tour the east and north of the city, la Predera, Gaudis apartment block which puts modernity to shame and then a sneaky first peek at Segrada Familia. Instantly realised needed more time so booked a tour tomorrow. More walking some wine, paella and.then a dash to see the light show at the fountain.... missed it again... bloody guide books!!!
