Day 158/17. A most unusual sight over the Solent..

The world’s largest oil spill response organisation showcased one of its specialist aircraft in an exercise over the Solent this evening.
Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) put one of its two ex-passenger Boeing 727 aerial dispersant aircraft through its paces on Wednesday.
Flying off the coast of Lee on Solent the specially-adapted 727 sprayed fresh water to simulate the application of dispersant chemicals onto an oil slick.
It was a murky, damp and windy evening..... I don't think the kitesurfer even noticed the large passenger jet aircraft. But she enjoyed some flying also.....see the extra picture today.
