At work

The weather has been much better today.  Still very windy, mind you.  But no rain, and I think there has been quite a bit of sunshine.

I've been at work, but at 5.30 I had to walk across to a meeting at the Bob Champion Building, and took the opportunity to record the considerable progress on the Quadram Institute, to the right in this photo.

Mind you, if we think the wind is a problem here, we were upset to learn that old friends of W, with whom we stayed in Knysna, have been evacuated today due to raging fires, fanned by fierce winds, and may well have lost their home.
