Our neighbour

Our neighbour moved today. She has always been our neighbour, she was here before we moved in. This flower is from the rose bush in her garden (also see extras). She tended this bush faithfully and it still got greenfly. We never look after ours and it never has greenfly! One day our house had a power cut but hers was on a different circuit. We had guests coming for dinner and I was trying to make a pavlova- we ended up "borrowing" their electricity! Made a change from a cup of sugar! She's not moved too far so we will still see her but we're going to miss her.
