Day 10: Gannay sur Loire to Nevers

Let's get through it day with colds still contributing to negative mood but arrival on Nevers with its magnificent Cathedral made us happy people. Not sure why but the contemporary stained windows in contrast to the medieval building makes one appreciate that things change and not always for the worst . Just a small sample here. Why the change? Well the RAF made a mistake and bombed the Cathedral in 1944 and hence introduction of new thinking in the following decades rather than more of the same.
