Soup!

No theme. Hmm I'm thinking I need a new list because I've become uninspired/unmotivated/whatever the right word is to do the challenge list I have.

But I'm still taking photos!

This is a bowl of lentil and gammon soup that I made. Right fine!
Had gammon roast for supper the night before and used the leftovers to put in a pan of lentil soup.

This soup always reminds me of when I was little. My mum used to make her lentil soup with a ham hock.
I have always liked lentil soup. When I was little, I didn't like pea soup, so my grandad used to make yellow pea soup and tell me it was lentil soup and I ate it all!

One of my kids likes soup and even wanted to take some of this soup to school for lunch. The other won't touch soup at all.

This bowl of soup was just what was needed on a freezing cold, wet day :)
