Lancaster over St. Aubin's Bay

I went on a day trip to Jersey with a friend at work to see the Jersey Air Display, one of highlights of the annual island calendar. The weather was perfect, sunny, still and mild. There was a great atmosphere on the sea front to watch the afternoon's flying. There were so many photographic opportunities, and it was an ideal opportunity to try out my new camera paired up with my 100-400mm lens.

The highlights of the show were the Red Arrows, but I wanted to catch something a little different, so here is a shot of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster over the sparkling bay
