Empty.....

Cold empty station
The wind is whistling through me
No stopping today

Wide angle Wednesday this month is starting with the letters J or E or showing six things, I went for an 'empty' station.

Since the Kaikoura earthquake this line has only been used to get tools and equipment to those who are fixing road and rail works further north. There is no schedule and certainly not daily, so capturing a train is almost impossible unless your in the right spot at the right time. There will be no stopping at this station for quite some time.

A quieter visit with R today, he mumbled a lot and seemed contented to be in his own little world. He spoke of home and said he hasn't been home for a long, long time but also didn't ask to go home....

Wednesday.....a pretty good day weather wise, 11C, sunny and cool :)
