Look Out Below!

This is the business end (well, one of them) of my resident osprey as he was hunting for a snack this afternoon.  I've spent a lot of time trying to catch him as he dives into the water but I'm having trouble looking through the viewfinder at precisely the right moment.  Getting him in my sights and keeping him there while he dives has proven to be a challenge.  I was pleased to see that this picture, taken just before he hit the water, shows his talons out.  Most of the pictures I have of him are taken earlier in his flight when his legs are stretched out behind him. This can only be called a fish's worst nightmare view.
