Mordor
Today was the Scottish Individual Orienteering Championships, being held at Gullane. After weeks of no rain it was showery and quite cool, but nothing too bad. I helped on one of the starts before my run, and unusually had a good run; normally my brain goes to mush after helping, but not so today. A and I had agreed to collect controls and were allocated some in the dunes at Gullane. We were fortunate that the weather was clearing and I got this great view of A and the back edge of the front; all very Tolkeinesque. The extra is of a shower cloud at Longniddry Bents on our way home.
Yesterday’s blip.
