Slow and steady

A blustery cold wet day & I was soaked to the skin on my dog walk this morning.  I had to change EVERY item of clothing on my return (apologies if that is too much information).

Sam did his first day of work experience at Cambridge Reptiles and absolutely loved it.  It helps he's doing it with best friend Ross and that they can do the 1.5 hour commute by bus together.  It's a long day compared to the school one and he wasn't home until 6.30pm.   I'm hopeful that it will be a really positive experience for him.

There were a lot of snails out enjoying the wet weather - this was taken using my screw on macro lens.
