comings and goings

Here we are in the Holiday Inn at Edinburgh Airport. We left the car at Lockerbie for D, who was returning from a couple of days in Aberdeen, and took the train and the tram and then a very wet 20 minutes' walk to reach the hotel. Too wet to repeat the journey back into town tonight so we ate dinner here and are now relaxing in the room.

Luke has an early flight tomorrow morning and mine is soon after. I won't see him again until after the end of September but I'm pleased that he's going to be spending the summer working hard at something he likes doing, with some great people. He'll come back tanned, healthy and happy (I hope).

As for me...well you'll have to wait till tomorrow to see where I'm headed :-)
