A Pebble from a Beach.

73 years ago today, in 1944, the D-Day landing occurred. This pebble was collected by myslf from Omaha Beach during a visit there a few years ago whilst I was still in the Royal Air Force. It sits on my desk to remind me how brave others were. What heroism and tragedy was this inanimate object witness to all those years ago?
