CAT Scan
We had a bad start to the day - after all the rain and wind last night, there was a lot of rainwater on our dining room floor! It had obviously been raining against the patio doors and somehow had come in! We mopped it up and Alan said he'll look at it tonight, hopefully he can repair the seal or blocked drainage hole, but I think a new door is going to be on the list of jobs to do.
This morning I had my CT scan to check out whatever it is that showed up on my chest x-ray. My oncologist doesn't think it will be anything to worry about, but nevertheless I feel happier getting it checked and I'll see him on Thursday for the results.
The portable machine to the left of the picture is a Power Injector that administers a contrast agent to enable them to see things that they wouldn't normally be able to. She said I would get a 'warm' sensation travelling through my body and I'd feel like I'd wet my pants! I have to say it was rather a strange sensation!
Anyway, it didn't take long and I was in and out in about 30 mins. I'd planned to go swimming afterwards but I was told not to for a few hours, and as I'm on the late shift that meant I couldn't go. So I went home, did a few admin jobs and then took the boys out for a walk before coming to work.
It's brightened up but is still very windy, talk about flaming June!
