A Wild Tuesday in the Garden
Yet more rain today, but not in sun quantities as yesterday - but it seems the birds are coming out to the feeders in their droves! At about 7.30 this morning there were 3 (one flew away as I took the photo) Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers on the feeders - Mum/Dad and 2 babies. They came back during the morning several times, - then the little Blue Tits came over for a feed.
They then shared the feeders with the Coal Tits, and the little Robin was looking so hopeful that they would leave something for him (See the extras!) Even the larger birds - Blackbirds, and Thrushes were seen, but the camera wasn't at the ready for those. Another day perhaps!
