Art in the Hothouse
Wet day for my day off, but no matter as this is the first week of Art in the Hothouse at Glenbarr.
I had enjoyed my Tuesdays painting last year at Glenbarr so I was glad that Karen had decided to run the Tuesday painting sessions again.
Good to see returning pupils and one new face :-)
The time flew by and it was 1.30pm before I knew it.
This is my painting from today of one of the Irises Glenbarr has in its nursery.
Met up with Beachcomber in the cafe where I caught up with the research he was doing today in the library about the early films shown at the 'Wee Picture House' in Campbeltown.
After lunch we just returned home as it was too wet to travel up to Tayinloan to capture a shot of the Island Queen.
