Which do you prefer?

Clematis orientalis produces these orange peel flowers for a long period from summer into autumn. The seedheads start shiny and permed, like this one, then age to a mass of fluff (like the one beyond this shot.) One of natures most generous plants with a very long season of interest ... and it's easy to grow too!
