Snake in the grass

Wonderful walk through Discovery Park today, which nearly ended with me standing on a snake. No idea what sort it is yet, but will find out. Since we don't have snakes in NZ it had to be my Blip for today.

Extras are a great blue heron taking off, and South Beach lighthouse.
