Awesomecore Women

We were still sitting around rabbitting away + indulging in a lively discussion / firey debate about whether The Strangler's live show in Battersea Park, complete with dancing bondage women in 1978 was derogatory to our gender or not when we realised we'd lost half our party of brilliant lasses to the pub (to which we were supposed to meet the fellas some some time ago..). It was time to end this raucously over the top time, but not before responding to what I'd just been shown on that shaky youtube video. I wanted to take a picture of these flabbergastingly scintillating femmes, standing in the kitchen holding a powerful pose and accumulating a prop that represented anything other than old fashioned and gruesomely out of date but worryingly still present gender stereotyping. My little snappy camera,( of which don't get me wrong I am so grateful to still own,) is nothing on my beefy badass but also missing Lumix; so the gobsmackingly powerful shot I'd envisioned wasn't quite up to speed.
