August the Strong's luxury boat

He lived from 1670 -1733. He was Prince-elector of Saxony and King of Poland. He is famous for the sets of the finest jewels and pieces of art made in his time. You can see his treasury in Dresden in the Grüne Gewölbe ( Green Vault) - named after the green wall paint in the
Treasury.
In his reign European china was invented and the famous Dresden/ Meißen China manufacture was opened. You can recognise its pieces by the two crossed swords as a maker's mark still today.
