The Lady Alights

After seeing our sort-of-lawyer man and two architects in Council offices and lots of phone calls, we have decided on a date to go to the notary office in Reguengos and buy the land!!  Thursday, 22nd June. Scary, exciting, hard to take in after so long...

Then, off we went to show Geoff and Hélène the sights of Évora. Ended up getting a ride in a horse-drawn carriage to the pastry shop for an afternoon coffee and almond tart. Absolutely loved it, and so fitting on the cobbled streets.

And now need to serve dinner, and then the priest and another couple coming for drinks... can't imagine I'll be turning the computer on again - please be forgiving me.
