I Am No Shrinking Violet...

Monomonday: BLIP NAME
I was named after my maternal grandmother Kate, normally known as Kitty or Kit, who passed away three days after I was born. She had been ill for a while and Mum was convinced that she hung on those last few days to meet me.

I don't have many photographs of her, but I do have her wedding ring and eternity band.

Luckily I was not named after my paternal grandmother Violet, as I am not sure the name would have suited me, I may be many things but I am no shrinking violet...
